We are seeking talented individuals for the position of heavy equipment shop mechanic based out of our Richmond Hill (Savannah area) store.
Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical deficiencies, hydraulics and engine repair, welding, fabrication, electrical and preventative maintenance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience repairing and/or maintaining heavy construction equipment
- Basic set of tools
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical manuals, schematics
- Must have a reliable form of transportation to and from work.
- Welding skills a plus
- Able to lift at least 50 LBS
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Complete tasks without direct supervision
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
**Willing to work occasional overtime if needed**
