The 6-Ton Asphalt Hot Box is the largest trailer mounted machine offered by Falcon. It enables your work crews to quickly and efficiently fix potholes, patch asphalt, and repair large utility cuts. The wide range of standard features matched with the large capacity, will add immense value to your patching operation.

All 6-Ton Asphalt Hot Boxes have a two-burner system to make easy to achieve even heat throughout the material and makes it possible to recycle asphalt. This feature significantly reduces waste while saving time and money. With falcon’s patent heat management system you can count on even heat throughout the entire hot box.

Around a quarter or more of asphalt hot mix will cool before crews can use it to patch holes, this results in significant financial loss and waste as the costs of asphalt continue to increase. When utilizing large quantities of asphalt this waste is even more costly. The Falcon 6-ton Asphalt Hot Box helps keep 100% of the hot mix at ideal temperatures throughout the work day—and up to 48 hours overnight.

A standard dump truck has a raised bed, which forces workers to shovel material in an awkward position. This causes fatigue and injuries while slowing down work to a crawl. Falcon hot boxes are designed with ergonomics in mind. The beds are at an optimal shoveling height, allowing crews to work longer without getting tired.

The main function of any asphalt hot box is to keep hot or cold mix asphalt at the optimal working temperature throughout the day. Falcon’s patented heat management system allows us to create and maintain heat better than any other asphalt hot box on the market. Rather than firing our burner directly into the hooper walls, our diesel fired Beckett burner fires directly into our patented seamless one-piece combustion chamber that creates a tumbling action before pushing heat into the floor of the box.

A series of stainless-steel baffles help disburse the heat evenly throughout the floor of the box before allowing that heat to rise into the walls. Our walls are triple wall insulated and ensures that heat stays in the box while keeping the outside of the machine cool to the touch. You can heat hot or cold mix asphalt and hold it for up to 48 hours. Our 6 -Ton Asphalt Hot Boxes come standard with a second burner that fires directly into a cross chamber to heat the material in the middle of the Hot Box. This second burner allows you to use indirect heat to reclaim unused hot mix and recycle asphalt chunks and millings.
